As you know, health and safety, and connecting the world, is the starting point for everything that we do at Cobham SATCOM. As the circumstances surrounding COVID-19 continue to evolve, this commitment has never been more important. I would like to reassure you that we are doing our utmost to ensure the health and safety of our customers, partners and employees, while supporting vital communications at this time.

Thanks to proactive early intervention, we have been able to maintain all critical functions across the business and are currently operating as normal. We are nevertheless not complacent about the road ahead. We have been monitoring the situation closely from the outset and are following all advice from the World Health Organisation and applicable governments. Already, we have taken action at the earliest possible opportunity to implement measures including travel restrictions, working from home policies, hygiene precautions, and safeguarding our supply chain. Our team is also fully contactable remotely via email or telephone.

At all of our facilities, we have enforced a “clean site” and social distancing programme to ensure all possible precautions are being taken to safeguard our on-site critical teams and ensure production, delivery and technology development continuity.

Leveraging our strong supplier and partner network, and global manufacturing reach, we have secured ample supply and stock for our manufacturing sites. This will enable us to mitigate logistical challenges and proactively support customer regions severally impacted by COVID-19. We are working tirelessly to gain insights into this very fluid situation from across our global network; remaining flexible in order to respond to new developments in a way that supports our commitment to health and safety, and connecting the world.
