PMM related events

Description

PMM related events in a SAILOR Ku band antenna system is often related to the antenna being installed to close to a radar, in the main beam of the radar. Then, at certain angles of the satellite dish relative to the radar, and maybe also dependent on radar’s pulse length and rate, error events may occur, causing the antenna to shut down.

A workaround to this problem, caused by the installation guide not being followed, is described in document 95-166454-A - SAILOR 800A/900B-E VSAT Ku – PMM shielding Procedure.

Note: Before performing the PMM shielding pls. contact Cobham Aftersales department, for verification of the problem.
